(KHABRE TV - 9334598481, 9523505786) - On the occasion of general election 2020 in the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly, strong room will be built in both these colleges and counting work will be done.
In view of the situation of the Covid-19 transition, the Election Commission of India has directed to put up a maximum of 7 tables in a counting hall for the purpose of social distancing for counting work. In this way, counting of votes will be done on a total of 14 tables by putting seven tables in each counting hall for at least two counting.



920 auxiliary polling stations have been set up to limit the number of voters at a booth to a maximum of one thousand. Thus a total of 3168 polling stations have been set up for this time's election. Due to the increase in the number of polling stations, additional space will be required to keep EVM machines in strong room also. For this purpose, this time strong room will be built in two places instead of one and counting work will also be done in both the places.

 


Nalanda College will have strong house and counting work for 5 Vidhan Sabha and Sogra College will have strong house and counting work for 2 Vidhan Sabha.
For this purpose, the District Election Officer Shri Yogendra Singh inspected both the places along with the electoral officers of various assembly constituencies and gave necessary guidelines for preparing strong room and counting hall.
On this occasion, Election Officers (ROs) of various assembly constituencies, incharge of Vajragriha Koshang, Treasury Officer, Deputy Election Officer and other officials were present.
