District officer holds meeting to start production at Neera plant
The production of Neera in the Neera plant built in the premises of Bihar Sharif Bazar Samiti will start soon. For this the plant has been kept in ready condition.
For production of Neera, at least fifteen hundred liters of palm juice will be required daily in the plant. The supply of which will be ensured through livelihood.
DPM Jeevika told that the license of 2 thousand 425 tappers has been renewed in the district. Tapper is being trained block wise from today. Training in all the blocks will be completed soon. Since Holi, tapers will be used to extract juice from the palm. Which will be sent to the Neera plant through a livelihood collector.
The District Officer directed the DPM Jeevika to ensure supply of the required amount of palm juice. All the 20 Neera sales centers operated through Jeevika in the district were also directed to work. At the same time, DPM Jeevika was instructed to make Jeevika collector and Tapper to visit the Neera plant.
In-charge-cum-chief executive officer of Nira plant Nalanda Dairy PK Sinha, DPM Jeevika and other officials were present in the meeting.
