Meeting of District Mining Task Force and District Road Safety Committee under the chairmanship of District Officer

 A meeting of District Mining Task Force and District Road Safety Committee was convened today under the chairmanship of District Officer Yogendra Singh. 
Assistant Director of Mines and Ghosts was instructed to ensure action against the mining, storage, transport and sale of illegal sand, ballast and other mineral substances by continuous raiding. In this regard, instructions were given to all sub-divisional officers and sub-divisional police officers to ensure the necessary action through all the police stations.
 Various executive agencies involved in the manufacture of mineral materials were instructed to ensure payment of pending royalty without any delay. Non-payment of royalty will be taken against the officials of the executive agency concerned.

 In the meeting of Road Safety Committee, Executive Engineer Road Construction Division Bihar Sharif told that a road ambulance has been made available through the department. The District Officer directed this ambulance to be made available permanently at Giriyak police station. This ambulance can be used to take the injured persons in road accident to the nearest hospital.
 It was informed by the District Transport Officer that two dead vehicles are being made available through the department. The District Officer asked to provide one dead body each in Rajgir and Hilsa subdivision. It will be operated through the local Red Cross Society.
 A plan to construct 2 bus stops in rural areas has been approved through the Transport Department. Instructions were given to sub-divisional officers to identify suitable sites for this. In the next financial year too, the possibility of approval from the department was proposed to make 12 bus stops in rural areas. All the sub-divisional officers were directed to make the list suitable for construction of the bus stop and make the list available to the District Transport Officer.
 Executive Engineer Road Construction Department / NH and Rural Works Department was directed to ensure safety audit from the traffic point of view of the subordinate roads.
 All the concerned departments were directed to submit annual action plan to reduce road accidents.
 Superintendents of Police, District Transport Officers, all Sub-Divisional Officers, all Sub-Divisional Police Officers and Executive Engineers of various departments related to road construction were present in the meeting.
