District Officer holds meeting with all Block Development Officers through video conferencing

Today the District Officer held a meeting with all the Sub-Divisional Officers and Block Development Officers through video conferencing to review the action being taken to stop the spread of Novel Corona virus.
All persons coming from abroad and outside the state have been identified. All such persons are being kept in home quarantine. Local ASHA and Anganwadi workers have been tagged for continuous monitoring and daily tracking of these people. Monitoring of daily tracking is also being done through the treasury set up at the district level. Soap for hand washing is also being distributed in all such households.
In order to ensure that there is no difficulty in the supply of essential materials, the concerned Block Development Officers are issuing passes for vehicles or personnel / workers. For vehicles going out of the district, passes are being issued at the level of the concerned sub-divisional officer. 
There is no restriction on agricultural operations. Directives were given to all Block Development Officers to ensure that farmers do not face any difficulty in harvesting work.
Directives were given to all officials to ensure availability of essential commodities and to keep prices under control. Directives were given to ensure strict action against the sellers of black marketing.
Superintendent of Police, Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional Collector, Director DRDA, Civil Surgeon and Nodal officers of various district level treasuries were present in the meeting.
